ADKO is providing PS&E for the following earthquake damaged sites:
- DAF 17 Old Sonoma Road Stone Culvert: The project consists of repairing the existing unreinforced mortared stone masonry culvert wingwall. The culvert wingwall repair will consist of drill and bond dowels into the damaged wingwalls and provide stream diversion. Extensive cracks (1” wide) in the stone arch culvert and cracks in pavement.
- DAF 19 Yountville Crossroad Bridge : The proposed project would include repairing the following items that were damaged during the 2014 Earthquake. The proposed project includes replacing the 2 ½”x9”x18” elastomeric bearing pads (total 5) at abutment 1 using hydraulic jacks.
- Reconstruct 40 feet long by 39’-6” wide roadway approaches. The roadway approaches consist of 0.3” AC and 1.3’ aggregate base. All work will be done from at the roadway surface.
- Replace the cracked 2.2”x2.5”x 4.5”shear key at abutment 1 south by removing the existing concrete and protecting the existing shear key rebars. Dowels will be added to connect the replacement shear key to the abutment by jack hammering the spalled concrete.
- No vegetation will be removed. Minor trimming of vegetation, if any, is expected along the shear key repair area. Yountville Crossroad bridge consist of a six spans continuous PC/PS “I” Girder total 5 with reinforced concrete deck and reinforced concrete pier walls with reinforced cantilever seat-type abutments and monolithic wingwalls.
- DAF 20 Silverado Trail MPM 1.47: The project consists of repairing the existing unreinforced mortared stone masonry culvert that was damaged during the 2014 earthquake. The culvert repair will consistof drill and bond dowels into the damaged culvert and provide stream diversion. Cracks and missing mortar between stone, at West side of structure.
- DAF 22 Silverado Trail Talpin Road: The proposed project would include replacing the north barrier that was damaged during the 2014 Earthquake. The damages include barrier cracks, missing mortar between stone, and missing stones on stone barrier.
- DAF 23 Silverado Trail MPM 26.50: The proposed project would include replacing the north barrier that was damaged during the 2014 Earthquake. The damages include barrier cracks, missing mortar between stone, and missing stones on stone barrier.
- DAF 24 Silverado Trail MPM 0.16: The proposed project would include repairing the Cracks at both ends of wingwalls at North side of structure. the north barrier that was damaged during the 2014 Earthquake.
- DAF 25 Silverado Trail MPM 10.64: The project consists of repairing the existing unreinforced mortared stone masonry culvert wingwall. The culvert wingwall repair will consist of drill and bond dowels into the damaged wingwalls and provide stream diversion.
